About Us

In 1996, a piece of land in Oklahoma caught the attention of our family.

It wasn’t considered promising by most — a few friends saw it, shook their heads, and walked away. But one man saw something different. He saw potential. After driving home and reviewing the family’s finances, a decision was made that would change the course of generations to come.

In 1997, the land that would become TLC Ranch was purchased, built not on what it was, but on what it could become.

What started as weekend trips to “the farm” quickly turned into a lifelong commitment. Trails were cut through the woods, ponds were restored, and every inch of the property began to take shape through hard work, prayer, and persistence.

Although our family maintained full-time careers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, our passion was rooted at "the farm" — outdoors, together, building something that mattered. Over the years, those weekend visits turned into weekly ones, and by 2018, the first family members moved to the farm full-time.

Inspired by the native pecan trees that grew naturally on the property, our family’s first major income producing project was planting 400 new pecan trees. With help from friends, family, and a lot of determination, that number has grown to more than 2,000 trees today. Every planting season reflects the same values that built this farm from the beginning — faith, family, and stewardship of the land. As of 2024, our pecans are proudly certified organic, grown using regenerative and biologically diverse practices that restore and enrich the soil rather than deplete it.

While pecans are a big part of our story, bison have always been part of our dream. For years, the idea of bringing these powerful, native animals back to the land felt distant — a “someday” goal. But through patience, persistence, and a lot of prayer, that dream became a reality. Today, seeing bison roam our pastures serves as a daily reminder that the best things in life take time, care, and faith.

When you visit TLC Ranch or enjoy one of our products, you’re experiencing more than a farm — you’re part of a story about redemption, restoration, and the belief that everything and everyone has potential.

We believe that because of Christ, nothing is without hope. He’s not finished with this land, He’s not finished with us, and He’s not finished with you.

If you’d like to learn more about our journey or see the ranch for yourself, we invite you to reach out and experience the heart behind what we grow and raise.
